The body is an arrangement of interconnected systems and moving parts. You can expect an individualized and comprehensive treatment plan that addresses all relevant systems and structures, so that you can return to function with minimal risk of symptom recurrence. You will also receive patient educational resources and a home program, empowering you to actively participate in your rehabilitation.
What to Expect?
Each physical therapy session is 60 minutes of one-on-one care. The initial evaluation session includes a patient history (you describe your injury or dysfunction and your needs and goals), an examination to determine a physical therapy diagnosis, and treatment. Follow-up sessions always start with an update from you, followed by a re-evaluation to assess progress/change, and the treatment. Treatment usually includes hands-on manual therapy, exercises or movement activities, and a home program to maintain gains. See FAQs for more.
